At Katia Intermediate we had tech and I was in cooking. My partner was cypress we were cooking some corn fritters. Miss Du flu was teaching us how to make something quick and easy with some corn.

She also taught us how to use a the nice in a proper way so none will get stabbed.She showed us how to use a oven, even if we already knew how to.Then we did a self check about what level do we think were on.

My Dangerous Pet

My Dangerous Pet

My dangerous pet is a Dragon, he is a male and his name is Vex. He is 6 years old.His paws have flippers in between his rocky claws.His eyes are on fire, gaw is long and wide.Spikes on his back like a spinosaurus. Teeth are sharp and he has two rows of teeth both rows have 24, 48 in total.A short neck with gills on each side,tale is long and has a three hand claw at the end.

Teach him how to protect my whanau, so whoever tries to harm or kidnap one of my family members I know, I can send Vex to search for them.Show him how to not harm random people and my whanau.I could potty train him so he doesn’t do his business all over the place like a bird.Show him how to hunt for his food elsewhere so he doesn't eat our animale on our farm.

Vex can also be dangerous, wings are able penetrate thu green stone.Spikes can be shot at will, able to regenerate in 1.5 seconds.Turn invisible, in between the three hand claws at the end of the tale there is a hole that sprays acid.Vex can spit lava and acid out of his mouth.

The Glowing Tree

The Glowing Tree

At the northwest of New Zealand there is a town called Kaitaia. In the middle of town there grows a glowing tree. It is the only tree that glows in the world. 

There lives a man called Alex, his job was being the mayor of town. The local people of town thought that they should cut the tree or sell it for repairs of business. Others thought they should turn it into a statue so that it represents Kaitaia. 

The people of town thought  they were doing the right thing because it was destroying people’s business, and costing the townspeople money the people got furious. The people made a complaint notice to Alex, that they should cut the tree. Alex gathered the people at the tree. He said “We shall not cut this tree because we do not know what causes might become of this”. One man asked the“what will happen if we don’t take charge, what if we die” the local people started panicking.

Alex said they should not worry . A man yelled out “easy for u to say you’ll still get paid while we lose our businesses” Alexis son Elvis,yelled back at the man saying”Yeah that might be true but my father is trying his best to provide for you’s, but nah you think  hes just sitting on his butt and not doing anything about it “ before he could say anything else Alex stepped in. He whispered to Elvis go back to your sister and your mother, Elvis walked back to his family. The people went silent for a second, then Alex said ”I know you all must think we are all doomed but I just wanted to let you know that I will try my best and figure out how to stop this mess”. The meeting was stopped and the people all went home.

Boom! Sounded in the middle of night . Everybody in town woke up then people came outside to see what happened .The local people walked to the tree because they thought it was the tree and it was. The townspeople stared at a circular object that appeared in front of the tree. The mayor Alex appeared and said “everyone just keep calm everything is going to be ok I have called NASA, they are on their way to whatever this thing is they said that we need to go home and leave it to them so that means stay inside at all cost”. The people left and went to their homes. Nasa arrives in the morning and leaves two days later.

Alex gathered the people at the glowing tree and announced what Nasa had discovered.`”I have found out that we will be alright and that the object is a… seed,people started shouting yay we're not going to die. “ When the people stopped yelling he also said that there will also be more seed falling off the tree.

1 year later after the announcement.Alex died 2 weeks after the announcement because a seed crashed on top of him when he was driving to Elivies graduation. When they were able to grab the body they buried him under the glowing tree.After they had his funeral, they voted that Elvis should be the new mayor of town.

A seed started to sprout, the seed started sinking into the ground.People thought something was wrong with the seed, but it was actually digging itself into the ground. One day the Glowing tree started to turn black and blacker the people told Elvis was happening,Elvis gathered the local people at the tree to tell them about what was happening to the tree.Elvis said”I have told Nasa about the tree, they said that the tree is going slit into two and fall on the westside,eastside of town”.Some of the people started to panicking.

Elvis told the townspeople “there is another way but it’s going to cost some business in return to stop the tree falling into two,were going to need to blow the tree ends off it and turn it into something,Elvis took their suggestions about what they should turn it into”.A man yelled out they should turn it into a statue of Alex.The people turned silent for a while, so did Elvis.A woman also suggests the same thing, then the town started to join in.

When Elvis made the decision to turn it into the statue of his father,he gathered people who knew how to carve and sketch a drawing of his father Alex.9 months later after they had finished the statue. The people celebrated after their accomplishment and the people lived the rest of their lives happy.
