Matariki Shining bright stars in the cold dark night, Count the stars as the night goes bye Matariki,eyes of Tawhirimatea Tupu-a-rangi, sky of tohunga Waipuna-a-rangi, sky of spring Waiti, sweet of water Tupu-a-nuku, Earth tohunga Ururangi, Entry to the Heavens Waita, sprinkle water 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 & that's what Matariki stars mean.
